fundamentally changing the way that freight moves
The Clipper-owned freight ferry company Seatruck provides an established ro-ro route structure to service the transport industry. With 12 purpose built high-speed, high-capacity freight vessels Seatruck has the newest fleet on the Irish Sea operating on the three regular routes Warrenpoint-Heysham, Dublin-Liverpool and Dublin-Heysham.
Since its establishment in 1996, Seatruck has been dedicated to meeting the transportation needs of the haulage industry on the Irish Sea. The ferry company specializes in the movement of unaccompanied trailers which is a more efficient and environmentally friendly alternative to the traditional driver accompanied model. This way Seatruck is fundamentally changing the way that freight moves between the UK and the 'island of Ireland', and has seen growth of over 300% in the last 10 years in an otherwise flat market.
Customers have voted Seatruck ‘Irish Sea Shipping Line of the Year’ several times, proving the company’s ability to deliver fast, reliable and flexible services.
Clipper acquired ownership in Seatruck Ferries in 2002.
